This year’s awards season has delivered us with some amazing looks and outfits so far. Here are some of my favourites:

This stunning teal Gucci dress is my favourite so far, as the vibrant colour really accentuates her flawless complexion. The first thing that catches your eye is the detailed collar, which I am a huge fan of, it really makes the dress. I also love the simplicity of the look as a whole, it’s extremely classy.

It isn’t easy to pull this look off, yet Angelina makes it look effortless. The slightly unbuttoned blouse matched with the undone bow tie are perfect for transforming this Saint Laurent outfit into a chic and feminine red carpet look. This is one of my favourites as it’s so uncommon to see a woman work a suit, especially on a red carpet.
3. Emma Roberts at the Golden Globes

Wearing a Lanvin gown, I think this is one of Emma Roberts’ best ever red carpet looks. The form fitted dress really shows off her slim figure, and I like that the straps are just off the shoulder. I love how she didn’t overdo it with accessories, just adding a pair of Neil Lane earrings to finish it off.
4. Matthew McConaughey at the Golden Globes

In my opinion Matthew McConaughey has been the best dressed man at this year’s awards season. He always looks sophisticated and his suits are normally very different to the rest. This emerald green velvet jacket (complete with the matching vest) by Dolce & Gabbana is definitely my favourite as it really stood out on the red carpet.
5. Emma Watson at the Golden Globes

This has got to be one of the boldest looks from this year’s red carpet, so far. Wearing a radiant Christian Dior dress with a pair of fitted trousers underneath may not be conventional, yet I think it works. For someone so young to be taking a risk like this, especially on a red carpet, and for it to work as well as I think it did, she deserves a place on the best dressed list.
