Burberry SS14 Collection

This season it’s all about pastels. Get ready to say goodbye to your dark winter wardrobe, and welcome in spring with some vibrant colours. I think the transition from winter into spring is the best part of the year when it comes to fashion. It’s always fun to completely change up your whole wardrobe.

Burberry’s show at London Fashion Week was probably my favourite as it was just like a burst of colour on the runway. There was a lot of lace and transparent materials incorporated into the outfits, which I really liked it as it provides that feminine edge.

In an ideal world, we would all love to start dressing like this as soon as spring comes around, but given that we’re in the UK, it was reassuring to see that there are also some stylish coats in the collection. These pastel boyfriend coats are going to be everywhere in spring, they completely make an outfit as their colours are so eye-catching and they can be paired with most outfits.

One of my favourite looks from the collection has to be the gorgeous white embellished crop top matched with a pastel pink embellished high waisted skirt. Modelled by no other than Cara Delevingne, for me it really stands out as that one outfit that you wish you could own. The transparency of the sleeves gives this outfit an edge, which makes me like it even more.

Overall, I think that this collection is going to be very popular in the next upcoming fashion season. I think this is definitely one of Burberry’s best collections, especially when it comes to spring and summer. This has made me very excited for the next season!
