Bucket hats are back?

Yes! Bucket hats are the latest 90’s trend making a comeback. As its now festival season these floppy hats seem to be the perfect accessory. Not just for festivals, lots of people are now wearing these hats on a daily basis. I’m not sure if I’d wear them myself but I have seen some people wear them and they make them look great, I do really like the look of the all black bucket hats though. Even Rihanna and Miley Cyrus have started wearing them, who would have thought?

Snopp dogg and Chris Brown have been known to wear these type of hats but when the likes of Rihanna and Miley Cyrus start to wear something, everyone starts going crazy for them and will start to do the same. Brands like Obey and Stussy have brought out some very popular ones too with some really cool floral patterns.

That being said they come in many different colours and patterns and I think the patterned ones are great for summer. Some people refer to these type of hats as ‘fishermen hats’ because typically fishermen wear hats almost identical to these ones, obviously not as a fashion statement though. I think this trend is a bit like marmite though, your either going to love it or hate it because these hats aren’t one of those things which typically go with everyones wardrobe. Here is some pictures of bucket hats which I have collected from Tumblr, where you can find so much inspiration and its great if you are into fashion too.
