Rihanna’s New Fenty Addition

So as you all know, Kylie Jenner is the new face of Puma but no-one is really interested in that when Rihanna, the creative director of Puma, is the one designing the Fenty collection.

Rihanna’s first addition to the collection was the lace-up creepers with the rubbery platform sole. Then she designed the high top sneakers which Kylie Jenner modelled in her Puma photoshoot. The latest addition to the collection is the classic Puma sandals (Leadcat) with a touch of RiRi. The sandals have a satin foam backing with a faux fur trim that come in baby pink, white and black (as far as I’m aware, no other colours have been announced yet).

You can purchase the sandals on the 22nd April from the Puma website, however, be prepared for the hefty price as they’re estimated to cost around $80. I’m assuming in the UK it will be £56-80 as products are never converted properly when sold in the UK because they probably think we sh*t money when in fact we’re out here living off Pot Noodles in order to save up for a pair of Nike trainers. When an item is $150 in America, it’s usually £150 here. HOW IS THAT FAIR?

Regardless of the price, I have fallen in love with the baby pink ones- y’all should know by now that I love anything pink, especially baby pink. You can rock the Bethlehem look with these by pairing them up with socks or go bare but please, pleaseeee get a pedicure beforehand. Can I also point out that, a couple of years ago when I used to work at Urban Outfitters and Birkenstocks came back into fashion, we all styled ours with socks. Sadly, many people made fun of us but now I see people sporting their Adidas sandals with socks just because Kylie Jenner does and honestly, it’s like a slap in the face. Anyways, I can see fur and embellished sandals (like the Chanel ones) becoming a thing this summer. Just remember, if you’re going bare, pedicures are essential, otherwise opt in for the Bethlehem look.
